Membership Report

Amber Jones,  AAIDD Texas Chapter Board Member and Membership Chair

As we gear up for our next convention, we are excited to welcome both current and new members to celebrate an incredible milestone together. The AAIDD Texas Chapter is turning 50, and we’re proud to honor this moment with our theme: “50 Years of Inclusion: Honoring the Past, Celebrating the Future.”

This celebration is more than an anniversary, it’s a reflection of the strong, dedicated community that has made this work possible. Our members are the foundation of a vibrant network built on shared knowledge, lived experience, and a deep commitment to supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Together, we create a space where collaboration thrives, challenges are met with understanding, and meaningful support is always within reach.

Join us at the Annual Convention for inspiring speakers, engaging breakout sessions tailored for providers, LIDDAs, individuals with lived experience, and families, as well as valuable networking opportunities that strengthen our collective impact.
