AAIDD Texas is excited to continue expanding our network of professionals, advocates, and organizations dedicated to supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. 

Following our recent free webinar, “Snapshot of IDD Issues in the Current Legislative Session” with speaker Dion White, CEO Center of Life Resources and AAIDD Texas Board Member, we’re reminded of the power of community and knowledge-sharing. This session offered critical insights into current funding and service updates and highlighted the value of staying informed and engaged through AAIDD membership.

As we gear up for our 49th Annual Convention, “The Right Direction,” in Corpus Christi from September 30–October 3, 2025, we are continuing to broaden our outreach and engagement with provider agencies, local authorities, advocacy nonprofits, universities, parent and family organizations, and individuals with lived experience. We’re especially excited to increase participation from LIDDAs and academic institutions, and to foster connections that ensure every perspective contributes to the future of IDD services and advocacy.
